There were more fare dodgers in February than in January

Statistical data of „Rīgas satiksme” about public transport ticket inspections in February 2016:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:

Total:	7508
including:
Fine receipts	1499
Fine bills	6009

It is by 2140 fare dodgers more than in January 2016, when 5368 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Number of ticket inspections in public transport:
Trams	3703
Trolleybuses	8417
Buses	11584
Total:	23 704

Just to compare: there were 21 770 ticket inspections in January 2016, which is by 1934 ticket inspections less than in February 2016. In February 2016, the maximum number of fare dodgers (861) was fined on trolleybus route No. 15, and the minimum number (2) on bus route No. 34.
